High Commissioner meet swith the newly elected President of the Boating Association of Maldives

The High Commissioner met with the newly elected President of the Boating Association of Maldives Mr. Ismail Shareef accompanied by Board Member Mr. Ismail Hameed and Secretary General Ms. Zam’ath Zahir at the High Commission. The meeting focused on strategies enhance collaboration in the Boat building Marine tourism sectors, including the sharing of technology, expertise relevant to the maritime industry. Discussions also included opportunities for participation in the Boat & Marine Show Sri Lanka 2026, scheduled from 30 January to 1 February 2026 at Port City Colombo, and in the Maldives Marine Expo 2026, organized by the National Boating Association of Maldives, to be held from 5 to 8 February 2026 in Hulhumalé.
